Pictures make every page nicer and allow you to express yourself by adding images and not only using texts. "One picture equals a thousand words". You can add images to your documents from your own scanner, from the internet, from the word-clipart, or just from your computer. You can just copy and paste images, or add by the menu Insert >>> Picture >>> From File, allows you to add pictures from your computer

Tip: If the file is from somewhere on disk, select From File... from the Picture menu. If you want to use Clip Art from the Clip Gallery, click Clip Art... from the Picture menu.

Browse the Clip Gallery or find the file to insert it.

Drag the picture to wherever you want it.
